Reorientation from subsistence farming to commercial farming. To achieve UN SDGs 1 and 2, we need both enhanced production and improvement of equitable livelihoods of farmers.
Agrovad is realizing this through: empowering smallholder farmers with reliable access to high seeds, good farming knowledge, organic fertilizers, pesticides and other agricultural inputs.
Agrovad is also providing smallholder farmer aggregation services where it acts as a direct market basket for produce from the farmers. We look forward to running community facilities which will not only aid us in the aggregation of food produce from the different farmers but also mitigate postharvest losses and strengthen the farmers credit scoring for accessing extra funding.
Other services we are furthering include: Food traceability, Climate smart Agriculture and value addition of different agricultural produce.
