TAKING INNOVATION TO NEW HEIGHTS
As we move away from labour intensive farming practices and embrace mechanization, the demand for harvest aids and elevated work platforms for tree crops is steadily increasing, both domestically and internationally. The high percentage of aging orchards with trees reaching over four meters in height require evolved elevated work platforms, which up until now have been limited in their ability.
Developed by Australian grower John Magro, the hybrid Agtrack Cherry Picker features a six meter 350 degree turning articulated boom with rubber track or wheel base. These innovations allow for full movement in all terrains and limits the need for constant base re-direction, minimizing time spent moving though the orchard.
Based on extensive research, practical experience and Industry feedback, the Agtrack Cherry Picker is suitable for wet, soft soil conditions and excels in sloping terrain, traveling easily through narrow rows. Whilst the rotating boom moves from side to side allowing the operator to work an up to six meter radius from the base. Designed to increase output and productivity, the Agtrack Cherry Picker adds value to growers operations and products, with increased product care and handling.
Attachments for the platform and base assist in the various forms of harvesting, including Mangoes, Lychees, Avocados, Citrus and Stone Fruit. Whilst the base model offers a highly efficient machine for the erection of permanent hail and bird netting and shade canopies.
