Ahmad Issa Overview

Born and raised in Dubai, I am a Design Director with a lifelong love affair with art, typography and visual communication. For over a decade, I’ve been helping clients of all sizes to find their place through strategy-driven, smart and simple design. Along the way, my work has been published and recognized in the region’s most coveted creative awards such as Dubai Lynx and Transform Awards. I have also creatively managed some of the most iconic brands in the region such as: Mubadala, Emirates NBD, Majid Al Futtaim and Abdul Latif Jameel. I am also responsible for creating impactful visual identities for clients across an array of industries both locally and regionally. Some of my brand development work features: The National by International Media Investments, Redsea by Abdul Latif Jameel, Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival by Sharjah Book Authority, HealthBay Clinics, Abu Dhabi Ports and many more. I now spend my days as an independent freelance Design Director based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, working closely with clients and agencies to help build and grow businesses through simple and smart world-class design work.
