About AIGA/NY: The New York Chapter is one of 67 chapters of AIGA, the professional association for design. There are more than 3,300 members of AIGA/NY and many more members of the community that regularly participate in AIGA/NY programming. The mission of AIGA/NY is to identify and define issues critical to its membership and the graphic design profession to explore and clarify these issues for the purpose of helping to elevate the standards of the business of graphic design and to create a forum for the exchange of information, views, ideas and techniques among those engaged in the profession.
