Aion Health strives to improve lives and reduce maternal and infant mortality and morbidity through active volunteerism by medical and non-medical personnel in and out of Sierra Leone. 1,165 per 10000 maternal mortality in Sierra Leone. We ensure that we reach maternal mothers in remote communities where there is lack of access to quality healthcare and provide essential health services and information that will prevent maternal deaths. We are a non-profit organization of medical and non-medical personnel collaborating to provide free quality and equity healthcare to pregnant women, maternal mothers, and vulnerable populations in hard-to-reach communities.
Healthcare at to the people at their doorstep. Free Aion Health mobile clinic will augment the traditional healthcare ecosystem in Sierra Leone by improving access, strengthening the provider-patient relationship, and coordinating care.
A highly driven and committed volunteers are needed to run the operations. Volunteer staffs are significant in ensuring that the operations are a success without the need of compensation or financial motives.
