Airport Link has been providing a pre-booked, private, door-to-door and chauffeur service since 1992. We transport passengers in and out of airports, from meetings, dinners and sports events in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. We are associated with some of the biggest companies in South Africa because we provide an efficient and reliable service, that gives peace of mind to both the company making the booking and the client travelling. Airport Link’s drivers all carry Public Drivers Permits that are valid for 2 years. To renew a Permit the driver must get a Police Clearance, must get a full medical check- up with a General Practitioner and do an eye test. Our drivers are experienced, familiar with roads, routes and are alert to the current trends in hijacking. The vehicles are monitored 24 hours per day by the “Tracker – TomTom” system. At our control room the controller can see the movement of all vehicles all the time. Airport Link currently runs 7 seater minibuses and sedans, as well as a 16 seater Mercedes Sprinter. We provide car seats and booster seats for the family when required and trailers for the bigger loads for which there are no extra charges. All vehicles are kept for a maximum of two and a half years, and are subjected to a Certificate of Fitness, a roadworthy test every year. Vehicles are insured comprehensively and Passenger Liability insurance is in place to cover passengers in case of negligence on our behalf.
