AKCJA EMPATIA Overview

ACTION-EMPATHY is a project run by the TROP FOUNDATION, a part of TROP GROUP established on the basis of the work and practical experience of Jacek Jakubowski and Dorota Szczepan-Jakubowska gained by collaborating with various NGOs over the years (the POLISH PSYCHOLOGICAL SOCIETY most notably). That’s why from the very beginning of our activity, empathy stands not merely for a beautiful feeling, but also means a way to build relations and function in the society as a whole. Since TROP’s foundation over 30 years ago, running personal development projects has been at the centre of our operations. We support companies, organizations and communities in building their organizational culture and imbuing their everyday activities with values. We have launched the TROP ACADEMY where several thousand people have undertaken multi-stage developmental training cycles improving their empathic maturity and giving them the knowledge to support the development of others. On many occasions had we assured ourselves of the importance of conscious empathy-based cooperation. Not only does it grant you the feeling of a job-well-done with a sense of community, but also effectively contributes to elevating the quality and efficiency of the work performed . From the very beginning of the TROP GROUP, we have been undertaking varied volunteering activities. We supported non-governmental organizations and engaged in social projects. In 2015 we set up the TROP FOUNDATION. After a few years, our long-term social project called ACTION-EMPATHY was launched. The annual EMPATHY IN ACTION FESTIVAL will now be seeing its fifth edition. The essence of our initiative is running diverse projects aimed at increasing awareness of the phenomenon of empathy with its impact on cooperation and implementation of tasks. We proved to ourselves and others repeatedly that empathy can be developed and improved by the striving for EMPATHICAL MATURITY. Feel invited.
