We are Al borde Films. A production company for cinema and TV. Since 20015 we are specialized in bringing stories, values and ideas to the screen that generate a social impact.
We walk the fine line that sometimes separates reality from fiction, developing documentaries, corporate and awareness projects.
Specialized in creative documentaries, we have addressed issues such as the care system crisis, forced migrations, sexist violence in advertising or the refugee population in the middle of the Sahara. Our work has toured national and international festivals: HotDocs, FipaDoc, Seminci, Zinebi, MiradasDoc, New Orlean Film festival or Camerimage, among others. Our shortfilm "They're Just Fish" was nominated in 2021 for the Goya awards, the Spanish Cinema Academy.
We are currently in postproduction of a documentary feature film, "Flying Hands", shot in Pakistan, selected at the Lau Haizetara Forum of the San Sebastian International Film Festival (2022). And in production of "La Sinsorga", a documentary feature film, recently selected in Zinebi Networking (2022) and winner of the Pitch Corner organized by HEMEN during the San Sebastian Film Festival (2022).
