23rd Annual Midnight Sun 7s Rugby Tournament June (Friday) 7 & (Saturday) 8, 2019 featuring over 19 hours of daylight, why not play until the sun sets? Early-bird registration Fee $350* Elite prior to 1 April 2018, $200 Club and Masters, add $50 if registering after 1 April. Register your team in advance and reserve your spot, once filled we will not accept any more for 2018 Mens Open Division (Elite) Mens Club Division (Social) Womens Club Division Masters 35+ Division * Please note that registration period will end as soon all 8 open division slots are reserved Cash/Prizes/Trophies will be awarded. Social event will be coordinated by the Alaska Rugby Union and held at the Alaska Mountain Rugby Grounds http://www.alaskarugby.org/ on Saturday Team rosters needs to be sent to tournament administrators on or before June 5th, 2019. It should include a team photo, Players First & Last Name, and Date of Birth. If any team members have played for any world cup, international tournaments, or other elite level please acknowledge it so that our media specialist can easily identify and accommodate media requests. Rules All matches shall be played according to the World Rugby Sevens Regulations and Laws of the Game with Seven-a-side variations. All teams will be entitled to have the following members in attendance: up to 12 players; up to 3 managers; teams will be entitled to also bring a doctor or physiotherapist at their discretion. Mens Open Division play: 2 brackets of 4 teams each. Pool play from random draw, each team plays three pool matches under points system 3 for a win, 2 for a draw, 1 for a loss, 0 for a no-show with standard tie breakers. Top 4 and bottom 4 separated into knockout play brackets.
