Al Aswad founded by the late Abdul Hadi Al Aswad in 1959 with the vision to offer high-quality textile products. A pioneer, leader and to this day remains as one of the highly respected names at the famous Mubarkiyeh market in Kuwait City. A leader throughout the past six decades, the Al Aswad name was one of the early fashion and importer of high-quality textiles from across the globe from Poland, China, South Korea, Taiwan to India, Indonesia, Brazil, Turkey and Syria.
