Established in 1989 by a group of young Bahraini journalists, ALAYAM Publishing emerged as a unique entity in the Arab world. Our flagship Arabic daily newspaper, "ALAYAM," debuted on March 7th, 1989, followed by the English daily, "Bahrain Tribune," on March 7th, 1997. Alongside, we introduced "Sada Al Osbou," an entertainment weekly, and "Gulf Panorama," a monthly magazine.
Surveys consistently rank ALAYAM as Bahrain's top-circulated newspaper, credited to our diverse ideologies, credibility, and extensive coverage of local and international news. We pioneered the use of modern Information Technology in editing, executing, and publishing, setting a precedent in the MENA region. Our dedication to comprehensive reporting is evident in dedicated sports, kids, and business supplements.
As a member of UNESCO's "Kitab Fi Jarida" project, we actively contribute to cultural enrichment. Our portfolio extends to a distribution company and a prominent commercial bookshop in Bahrain. Equipped with state-of-the-art printing presses, our facilities cover over 15,000 sq meters and house the ALAYAM Media Center, inaugurated during our 20th anniversary in March 2009.
