Aleph-Marc CHAYA Overview

Founded by entrepreneur and philanthropist Marc Chaya, the ALEPH endowment fund is born form the conviction of its founder that wisdom and beauty are key enablers for progress, peace, and harmony. It has the ambition to contribute, in France and internationally, to the prime education of high potential students with lack of access to financial means, through the attribution of scholarships and the financing of educational programs. The fund also aims to provide financial and operational support to selected artistic, creative, and cultural initiatives. Aleph ( أ ) is the first letter of the alphabet in Arabic. The association of A and أ, a reference to the bi-cultural background of the fund’s founder, represents an eye, symbol of knowledge. Open towards the exterior, it allows a better understanding of the world and the contemplation of its beauty, while looking towards the interior, it paves the way for introspection and self-improvement.
