Algaesys has developed an innovative proprietary, patent protected, bioremediation process for sustainable wastewater treatment. Using algae, bacteria, diatoms and other phototrophic organisms, we treat wastewater using minimal electrical power (0.2kWh/m3) to Euro Class C re-use standard. We specialise in the provision of plant design, proprietary equipment supply, commissioning, monitoring and maintaining our plants.
Where practical and necessary we also offer our plants under a BOO model meaning that we can finance the implementation and operation of the plant on the basis of long-term Water supply agreements.
Our mission is quite simple. We want to decarbonise the wastewater treatment industry, ensuring that water is treated and re-used at source while sequestering carbon and providing local communities with valuable resources gained from the wastewater.
The power requirements, robustness and simplicity of our solution means that we are effectively a disruptor in our marketplace, bringing affordable, sustainable wastewater treatment to small communities - making it possible to re-think the extended infrastructure typically required to move wastewater and treated water to and from larger treatment facilities.
