Alicia's House builds and owns a portfolio of Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) across Southeast Queensland and the New South Wales Mid-North Coast.
Alicia's House has been named in memory of the founders late sister, Alicia Belling.
People who are living with disability have the right to live in modern, quality, specialist homes in central locations. All of Alicia's Houses are designed and finished to exceed the highest NDIS standards, and located close to healthcare, transport, lifestyle and general amenity.
A persons home can increase their quality of life, connection to community, and overall happiness. We are creating spaces that we would be happy for our sister to call home.
Alicia's Story
Alicia was born in a country hospital on the 1st of June 1983.
At 6 months of age she was diagnosed with “profound/severe developmental delay” with eyesight and hearing issues. At 18 moths of age Alicia contracted Meningitis and was then diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.
After an afternoon at the local pool, she developed a fever and became quite ill. She was rushed to Tamworth Base Hospital for further assessment. Within 6 hours she developed Sepsis and passed away. Alicia was 2 years and 6 months old.
We are proud of every house that we build knowing that it is at a quality and standard that we would be happy for our sister to live in.
