all images direct – using this motto, professional photographer Thomas Mueller started the Munich image agency in March 2006. From an initial stock of just a few images, he increased the stock size to the current 700,000 photos, graphics and illustrations. The number of image suppliers has also risen to 750 photographers and partner agencies worldwide. This makes alimdi a major player in the German stock photo business. It has been a member of the Federal German Association of Photographic News Agencies and Image Archives (BVPA) since 2011.
alimdi offers RM (Rights Managed) and RF (Royalty Free) licences, and is a Universal Image Archive. Accordingly, our range includes unusual image material in addition to classic themes. The alimdi client base includes publishing houses, TV broadcasters and advertising agencies as well as many international companies. All the image material can be researched online on the website www.alimdi.net and downloaded straight away. alimdi services are characterised by fast image searching and uncomplicated licensing. Additional distribution channels are the professional search engine my-Picturemaxx, the Fotofinder.net portal and several distribution partners in Germany and abroad.
