Alin Beit Noam is a nonprofit organization supporting people living with disabilities in Israel since 1941. Our aim is to instigate processes which change societal attitudes toward people with disabilities, improving their quality of life, social status and ability to operate independently in both the private and public spheres.
We believe that LIMITATIONS are innate, but DISABILITY is a social construct, created by a society which is insufficiently accessible to those living with limitations. Our vision is a future of equality and equity for all people, of all abilities. We want to help build a society that respects human diversity and allows people with physical, intellectual, sensory and mental disabilities to fully exercise their human rights, including all fundamental freedoms, and live a life of equality and freedom from discrimination.
