All About Metal Pty Ltd (AAM) is a small to medium enterprise in Sydney’s Western Suburbs specialising in general engineering, fabrication, sheet metal work, steel processing and specialist welding.
AAM services original equipment manufacturers, maintenance service providers, contractors and asset owners in the mining, railway, industrial, commercial, hospitality, food, residential and building industries. The company’s scope of work ranges from major quoted projects, to one off jobbing work. This work has varied from pharmaceutical process equipment to hydraulic reservoir tanks.
AAM is capable of working within Australian Standards and clients technical specifications. For example when fabricating stairs, landing and handrails the Standard AS1657 needs to be used as a guideline. Our staff are experienced with handling this sort of work and can guide customers towards any required standards for their projects.
Typical materials stocked and fabricated are carbon, galvanised, zinc coated, stainless steel and aluminium in sheet, plate and structural sections. We are able to also source less common and unusual materials as required.
The company’s workforce which includes: sheet metal workers, boilermakers and labourers is more than capable of handling a job of any size and detail. Situated on a 3000 square metre property with 2000 square metre building, ample space is available to undertake projects concurrently. The main building houses workshop facilities, offices and amenities.
We have numerous qualified weld procedures and we have operators qualified to AS/NZS3992, AS/NZS 1554.1 & 6 and to AWSD 1.1 & 6.
