Alliance Française De Perth

Alliance Française De Perth company information, Employees & Contact Information

Alliance Française is a cultural non-profit association founded in 1883 in Paris. Alliance Française de Perth was founded in 1911 as the first French language centre in Western Australia. Run by a locally elected committee, its aim is to foster bonds and a better understanding between France and Western Australia by spreading the knowledge of the French language and culture and by promoting linguistic and cultural exchanges. The Alliance Française de Perth is also the only official examination centre for recognized qualifications in French as a Foreign Language, such as DELF, DALF, TCF and DAEFLE. We offer a wide range of French courses, facilitated by qualified, native French teachers, to match different levels and needs. These include complete programs for oral and written comprehension, speaking and grammar exercises, and conversation workshops for those focusing on speaking skills. Or, for those looking to experience French language and culture in a different way, we offer themed workshops such as cooking classes, book clubs and movie nights. We also offer an on-site library with over 5000 items such as DVDs, CDs, novels, documentaries, comics, and books (both for adults and children) for French speakers and learners! Borrowing items is available to students and Alliance Française members, enhancing your French learning experience while studying with us.
