Alongside Families exists to connect isolated families in Charlotte to local church communities that champion family preservation and physical, spiritual, and emotional thriving.
What We Do:
-Mobilize the church to live out Christ’s love to isolated families in our community.
-Build relationships with families in need and provide connections to community resources and our social networks.
-Empower families to stay intact and gain stability and independence.
Our volunteers champion family preservation by offering temporary hosting of children whose parents are going through hard times such as homelessness or hospitalization, and wrapping around the parent with loving community. Our aim is to prevent child abuse, deflect children from entering the foster care system, and help families stabilize and thrive.
