Alpha Epsilon Delta was realized at the University of California, Los Angeles in the autumn of 2003. Ms. Theresa Kim, Ms. Wendy Chen and Mr. John Cho saw the need for an organization that could unite all students who shared a passion for the health sciences. Their dream was to weave a campus of stratified and segregated professional goals into a cross-disciplinary alliance.
Generations later, the roster of Alpha Epsilon Delta testifies to the fulfillment of the founders’ dream. The roster of majors runs from physiological sciences to chemical engineering and from communication studies to business economics. Despite the diverse professional interests, all of Alpha Epsilon Delta is bound together by a passion for the field of health – whether in its administration, business, policy or practice. Beyond the passion for the profession of health, all of our members share an intense fidelity to the virtues of academic achievement and moral character.
