Alta Design Associates is a full service engineering boutique providing architectural, civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering services. Alta Design also performs engineering site topographic surveys and stormwater management design in house. We are also experienced in preparing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design diagrams and providing construction consulting services. Mr. Timothy M. Brouse founded Alta Design Associates, Inc. and has been President since 1998. He has worked in the construction industry since 1986. Mr. Brouse’s areas of expertise include civil engineering, architectural engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, construction consulting, construction inspection, and scheduling. He has worked on construction projects including stormwater management systems, dams, waterways, residential housing, interstate roadways, bridges, hospital facilities, high-rise structures, schools, universities, churches, community centers, restaurants, and oil refining facilities. Mr. Brouse has performed analysis as a Geotechnical Engineer for SITE-Blauvelt Engineers, Inc. He has also served as a Construction Inspector and Field Engineer. His services have also been utilized by firms such as Trauner Consulting Services, and Capital Project Management, Inc. He also worked at Associated Engineering Consultants in the Structural Engineering Department. Mr. Brouse is well versed in site surveying, water management, building envelopes, roofing systems, hydrology, hydraulics, soils, exploratory drilling, structural geology, geophysical explorations, structural systems, steel construction, pre-stressed concrete, post-tensioned concrete, cast-in-place concrete, asphaltic concrete, masonry, wood construction, plumbing, and scheduling. Mr. Brouse is a graduate of Drexel University where he received Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil Engineering and Architectural Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.
