The Moldovan-American Association of Logistics and Transport - AMALT is a non-governmental, apolitical, and non-profit organization representing Moldo-American companies operating in the field of logistics and transport. The association was founded in the summer of 2022 by representatives of five Moldo-American transport companies: Nova Lines, Taurus Auto Group, C1 Transportation, Schwarz Logistics, and Hermes NVC Corp.
The association's purpose is to develop the logistics services sector in transportation and capitalize on its economic potential at the national level. Additionally, the association aims to transfer knowledge, skills, and expertise to state institutions and other relevant organizations.
The association has the following objectives:
- Collaboration with educational institutions in the Republic of Moldova to promote the dispatching industry and educate new specialists;
- Enhancing the level of professional and management skills within companies in the logistics and transport sector;
- Improving investment opportunities for service providers in the logistics and transport industry.
