Amanah Lestari Alam (ALAM) aims to foster partnership between private, public & global organisations to shift Malaysian’s behaviours across generations for the planet’s future.
ALAM is a long term, inter-generational and education-focused national initiative mooted by BPMB. ALAM aims at creating public awareness and educating the public on environmental conservation as well as instilling a whistle blowing culture to deter environmental damaging acts.
Set up as a company limited by guarantee, ALAM is supported by both the public and private sectors for the benefit of the country as a whole targeting specific UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Targeted to 3 distinct generation age groups:
1) Primary & below ,
2) Tertiary & below and
3) Adults community including corporations
to develop an in-build culture that care and ensure long term sustainability for a better Malaysia.
ALAM serves to complement and supplement existing CSR initiatives by various organisations and not to compete. ALAM will work with all CSR Bodies in alignment with environmental conservation.
ALAM welcomes volunteers, skill shares and secondments. NGO and civil societies are also encouraged to register with us.
