AMERA International advocates for the development of legal aid for refugees globally. We do this by supporting refugees in their search for solutions by assisting and encouraging organisations to offer high quality free-of-charge legal advice and representation. AMERA International’s current focus is on strengthening knowledge, capacity, and practices among legal aid providers, lawyers, refugee-led and community-based organisations, and NGOs working with refugees.
We manage a digital platform, Rights in Exile. This provides a one-stop shop of resources and coordination for legal aid providers and refugees across the world.
