Linda Blood and Frank Berriz opened American Coast Title Company in 1988. Joel Phillips joined Linda and Frank in ownership in 1999. All three are involved in day-to-day operations. ACT is a hands-on company. We have no outside investors awaiting huge profits, no stock analysts to keep happy and no consulting firm creating or revising our public image. What we do have are dedicated title professionals who understand that the best insurance of success is superior service to our clients. We can and do deliver the fastest service in the industry, but not at the expense of accuracy. This philosophy encompasses not only title and customer service departments but payoff and escrow as well. While privately owned, we are underwritten by two of the strongest title insurers in the nation, Fidelity National Title and Westcorp Title Insurance. It truly is the best of both worlds.
