American Conservative Union Foundation

American Conservative Union Foundation company information, Employees & Contact Information

About: Established in 1973, the purpose of ACUF is to educate voters, office-holders, and opinion leaders as to why conservative principles work better to solve the myriad of complex and dynamic problems facing Americans today and to equip them to become better and more effective problem-solvers by implementing conservative values within their communities. Policy Centers: The American Experiment tests the proposition whether people can govern themselves. The only way we can succeed as a nation is if Americans are educated, engaged and active in this experiment. Therefore, ACU Foundation’s Policy Centers distill and disseminate important conservative ideas and perspectives for the education of everyday Americans. Center for Legislative Accountability – Launched in 1971, our Ratings of Congress is considered the “gold standard” for evaluating how Members of Congress view the role of government in an individual’s life. We have expanded these Ratings to all 50 state capitals and evaluate and rate nearly 8,000 federal and state elected officials every year so voters can make informed decisions when they go to the ballot box. Nolan Center for Justice – This Center was established to grow a conservative consensus about how our criminal justice system is badly broken, and that there are proven, conservative reforms that will keep the public safe while restraining costs and respecting human dignity. Center for 21st Century Property Rights - ACUF has fought for the importance of Property Rights in all forms whether it be physical, intellectual, or personal. Center for Human Dignity - This Center champions initiatives that strengthen the intrinsic value of families, communities, and individuals across the country. Center for Statesmanship & Diplomacy – This Center educates grassroots conservatives about the threats to our nation’s security and the best way to confront these threats through a strong military, a robust economy, and a healthy culture.
