The goal of the American Samoa Foundation for Youth Development (ASFYD) is to:
• Facilitate the development of underprivileged students in American Samoa by promoting social awareness through a testament to Polynesian success and
• Provide academic and athletic assistance via sponsored programs and fundraising
With a vision of becoming a premier organization focused on an under-served community, ASFYD recognizes academic and athletic success by designing a multifaceted assistance system that will integrate new technologies into the simple objective of improving access for American Samoa youth in need of developmental equality. Methods include online publications and on demand services, donation of athletic and academic supplies and annual performance awards to students and teachers who best demonstrate scholarship and service in their communities.
