American University Kyiv (AUK) is a new private university located in Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv. Designed as an innovative world-class university, AUK opened its doors in partnership with Arizona State University, ranked No. 1 in innovation by U.S. News & World Report for eight consecutive years; Cintana Education, and a group of Ukrainian and international industry partners. AUK introduces a new model for higher education and is the first university in Ukraine and the region with American education standards, international faculty and a career-centered education approach. The university offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Management and IT, as well as a portfolio of lifelong learning programs for the wider professional community. Most programs are taught in English and thanks to the partnership with ASU, AUK offers opportunities for dual degrees, accelerated master’s degrees, certificates, and immersion programs at ASU. Its first campus is located in the historic River Port Building on the Poshtova Square along the right bank of the Dnipro River. Built in 1961 and with a student capacity of up to 1,500 people, AUK is bringing this iconic building back to its former glory, and by doing so is providing students with the opportunity to study in a beautiful historic location, equipped with the latest digitally enhanced learning features and education technology. In 2024, AUK offers for undergraduate students – BS in Business Administration, Global Management, Software Engineering, Marketing Science, Data Science, Global Finance, for postgraduate students – MS in Global Management, Technology Leadership&AI, and Software Engineering. Over time, AUK will grow to offer programs in engineering, health sciences, architecture and design, and law.
