For more than 30 years, Amistad Mission has offered the grace of transformation to vulnerable Bolivian families and children as well as friends in North America and around the world who have picked up the Cross to join in our work. We create a forever family by reconnecting siblings and placing them into a casa with other sibling pairs and a mama. They grow up in the same casa, and are supported through their teen years in the youth house, as well as in young adulthood at university/technical school and at their first job. Through faith and generous donor Amistad Mission strives to help Bolivian children achieve their fullest potential.
Another part of our program is Amistad for Families which helps families appointed by the court learn parenting skills, and provides the children a safe place to be when not in school. The goal is to help the family repair their stress and troubles so that the family does not get to the point of separation. So far we are seeing wonderful results!
