Conflict and security threats not only affect Somalia, but impact risk throughout Africa and the world. It’s an international problem that requires a multisectoral approach. Established in 2017, the Amni (means security in Somali) Forum is an independent, non-partisan institution designed to provide a platform for research, analysis and advisement on Somalian national defense and security policies and issues. The Amni Forum is dedicated to promote a better understanding of Somalian security while acquiring and evaluating intelligence and consulting those who work in the field, civil society, military and politicians. Our mission is to create better responses to Somalian security threats that impact the Horn of Africa and foreign states. Our consultancy platform encompasses all sectors in our analyses to promote a secure Somalia, region and world.
