AMVETS Hawaii Service Foundation is a 501c3, public non profit organization established to help raise the needed funds for AMVETS Department of Hawaii’s programs in the areas of human services, veterans, and youth. Funding is intended to provide veterans and the community with basic needs such as housing and nutrition, and to support youth programs aimed at helping youth become contributing members of society. AMVETS Department of Hawaii (https://amvetshawaii.org), is headed by AMVETS Department of Hawaii, State Commander Donovan A. Lazarus. AMVETS Department of Hawaii is a nonprofit 501c19, military membership organization for members of the United States Armed Forces (current and past), established under American Veterans (AMVETS) National (https://amvets.org), a Congressionally-chartered, nonprofit 501c19, Veterans Service Organization (VSO). Mission: AMVETS Hawaii mission is to provide service, support and assistance for all who served honorably in the United States Armed Forces: past, present and future veterans and their families. The AMVETS West Oahu Veterans Center is located at 5001 Iroquois Avenue, Building 612 & 612A, West Lock Annex, Ewa Beach, Hawaii 96706. The 3030-square-foot facility will accommodate military and community organizations, a gathering place for meetings, workshops, recreation activities and other events for the betterment of our veterans. Wireless Internet service is available throughout the facility. The facility and on-site staff are fully connected to AMVETS National Headquarters (https://amvets.org). The on-site communication, liaison, and coordination functions enable our clients to utilize all AMVETS National resources and services. Hours of operation: 0800-2400 daily (7-days).
