AMY SA was in the group of first companies in Greek IT, starting in 1981.
From the beginning the emphasis was on the distribution of computer peripherals via a reliable reseller network. Throughout the years AMY SA has demonstrated the company’s ability to build stable and profitable long term relationships in peripheral distribution.
Since 1989, the company has made a strategic move to capture more specialised niche markets while maintaining a strong foothold in mainstream distribution. A dedicated division deals with digital video for all stages of production and has captured a unique position in this market offering products, integrated solutions, support and services to this important market. Along similar lines, touch screens, digital photography and printing, networks and large storage solutions have differentiated themselves as distinct activities within the AMY structure. Gaming is the latest sector that has satisfactorily entered.
The AMY distribution network consists of almost all computer resellers in Greece. The major bulk of sales however is made by 300 large customers with whom business relationships have withstood the test of time. The major computer chains in Greece are also already part of our distribution network with a variety of joint promotions, special offers and other activities.
