‘Anamatangi Polynesian Voices (‘APV) is a California grassroots organization advancing systems-impacted communities through heritage preservation and civic engagement. Formerly known as Pacific Islander Outreach, ‘APV was founded by Apollonia ‘MamaDee’ Grey Uhilamoelangi and Senita Uhilamoelangi in July 1997. Since then, ‘APV has primarily served families in East Palo Alto, the Peninsula Valley, and the wider San Mateo County.
