Anatolia Minerals Development Limited Overview

Çukurdere Madencilik (ÇM), a wholly owned subsidiary of Anatolia Minerals Development Ltd. (AMDL) is planning to develop an open pit gold mine at Çöpler, Erzincan, Turkey. The deposit is named as the “Çöpler Deposit”. The Project Area is located in Erzincan Province, 550 kilometers from Ankara in east-central Anatolia. İliç is the nearest town and is located six kilometers east of the Project Area. Kemaliye is the other important town in the area and is an hour’s drive to the south. The Project Area is also about an hour’s drive to the east from the iron-mining centre of Divriği. The Çöpler Deposit is located within a bowl-shaped depression at an elevation of 1,100 to 1,200 meters above sea level, surrounded by Limestone Mountains that rise to more than 2,500 meters. These mountains are at the western end of the Munzur Range that rises to more than 3,330 meters between Ovacık and Kemah. The Çöpler Deposit will be mined by conventional open pit methods of drilling, controlled blasting, loading, and hauling. There will be three mining zones in Çöpler Deposit: the Manganese Zone, Marble Contact Zone, and Main Zone. Mining will commence in the Manganese and Marble Contact Zones in the early stages of operation, and then will expand into the Main Zone starting in Year 3. The life of the proposed project is 10 years excluding the 18 to 24 month construction period and approximately three years projected for mine closure activities. During this period, approximately 52 million tonnes of ore and 100 million tonnes of non-economic mine material will be extracted
