The "Portuguese National Association of DPOs and Other Professionals of Privacy" (ANDPO) was created with the aim of developing the skills and practices of professionals working in the areas of DPO, Privacy and Data Protection.
Founded in 2017, the ANDPO is a not-for-profit association for and by data protection professional. Our aim is to establish a reference point for the analysis and debate of issues related to the interpretation and implementation of National and European Regulations and Legislation in the area of Privacy and Data Protection (LPD, GDPR, ePrivacy, NIS, ...).
The ANDPO’s short term goals are:
- Creating a DPO Code of Condut
- Creating a certification scheme for data protection professionals
- Creating a certification label under GDPR
- Increasing ANDPO membership among public and private sectors data protection professionals
