Established in 2000, the Andrew Sims Centre (ASC) has built up an expertise in the design and delivery of all types of learning and development programmes. We provide training for professionals working in mental health or learning disabilities. Our high quality continuing professional development (CPD) courses are for everyone from all disciplines and all stages of their professional development. And all our courses are eligible for CPD hours subject to your peer group approval.
The ASC is able to give you the best value for psychiatry CPD and training because we are a successful self-financing department and not-for-profit organisation. We've provided excellent training and event management for over a decade. We are housed within Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT), so we always have access to up to date advice and subject suggestions from the clinical leads within the trust.
Although we are part of the NHS, we are a successful self-financing department and not-for-profit organisation; The ASC team do everything they can to make our courses affordable. This means all our profits will go back into the NHS to help fund other Mental Health and Learning Disability Projects.
