A company specializing in the creation of cartoons and audiovisual products designed for cinema, television and the web, Animundi was founded in Rome in October 2002 from the human, as well as artistic and professional, partnership between Raffaele Bortone and Andrea Martini, distinguishing itself right from the start for the experimentation of cutting-edge technologies and for the research into highly innovative production processes. Precisely these characteristics, which still make it an excellence in the sector, have allowed the achievement of important goals and recognitions over the years by initiating, both at a national and international level, prestigious and long-lasting collaborations such as the one with Rai which has now lasted for twenty years. Among the most successful works created in co-production with Rai Fiction is the TV series "I Saurini e i Viaggi del Meteorite Nero" which, with four seasons under its belt and over 100 episodes, continues to be one of the most loved and followed on the Rai networks, as well as being distributed in more than 40 countries worldwide. In the musical field, Animundi has created video clips for artists of the caliber of Andrea Mirò, Giovanni Allevi, Ivano Fossati, combining different techniques with the language of animation in this case too. Since 2019, Animundi has been involved in the production of "Lampadino e Caramella nel MagiRegno degli Zampa", the first inclusive animated series because it is accessible to all children, even those with sensory difficulties; audience champion on Rai YOYO, supported by the Ministry of Culture and winner of the UNICEF Special Award for "Best Social Work". At the moment, three series have been made for a total of 60 episodes, while the fourth season is scheduled for release in the spring of 2026. The DCMP (Described and Captioned Media Program), an agency of the American Department of Education, has decided to distribute the program in the US in ASL (American Sign Language).
