The Anjali School was founded in 2005 by the Aghor Foundation on the bank of the Ganges River in the ancient holy city of Varanasi, India. Anjali was started to educate children of migrant workers who live in makeshift homes along the nearby streets. Today, Anjali School provides free primary education to 118 students from Nursery through Class Five who would otherwise be unable to access or afford an education.
