Our services will be offered to individuals or group requiring wellbeing services for preventative work; trauma-informed care and kindness; mental wellbeing; positive goal setting and team building. The programme is shaped around the individual or groups' stated needs and preferences, with agreed goals and outcomes. Further, in recognition of the vulnerability, stress levels, cost of living crisis and impact of the on-going C19 pandemic, we are particularly offering the service as resilience, recovery and resumption for people who are service users, active patients and carers. Our public sector ie nurses, doctors, social workers, paid carers, paramedics etc have equally endured circumstances ie illness, disability, death for those they care for and support, and would benefit from a service offering trauma-informed care and kindness, stress management and release and grounding techniques for long-term benefits.
Our focus is on community support and development. We not only offer a service session but also share the techniques being used, for on-going practical self-use by recipients. This promotes self-care management and greater awareness of ways to be more able and responsible for shaping our own experiences and futures. Further, our style of user/patient engagement and involvement places people at the forefront of shaping and delivery (co-design and co-production), as well as involvement in community research and outcome reporting. We are promoting wellbeing and complementary therapies to the public and all sectors, as a means to potentially reduce NHS related costs ie frequency of GP appointments for anxiety and low level ill-health and as available preventatives, suitable to the social and community prescribing models. We have a track record through ANKH Services, of involvement in some of these programmes.
