Shellac is a natural resin secreted by a tiny bug in the forests of South-East Asia, and is used as an ingredient in fruit coatings, candy & chocolates coatings, pharmaceutical coatings, paints and wood coatings as well as many other applications.
Anning Decco is the largest producer of bleached Shellac in Asia and is the 2nd largest in the world. It is a Joint-Venture between the leader in post-harvest solutions provider Decco Post-Harvest and a Chinese State-owned company engaged in civilian explosives, Anhua.
