The history of the company began in 1922 in Graz (Austria) as a one-man repair workshop with master locksmith Anton Paar. At the turn of the millennium, the company was already the world market leader in the fields of density and concentration measurement of liquids, measurement of dissolved carbon dioxide in beverages and in rheology.
