AOF Management LLC ("AOF" or the “Firm”) is an asset management company based in Los Angeles and New York City. The Firm and our family office investors (“Strategic Partners") have created a platform for like-minded investors to share access and insights on innovative investment opportunities.
Founded in 2011 by a former Bain Capital partner and former Rho Capital partner, AOF employs a fundamentals-based, value-driven investment approach across four complementary strategies:
• A floating rate, first-lien, syndicated bank debt strategy with a focus on private equity-backed companies
• A current income strategy which leverages relationships of the Firm’s Strategic Partners to provide diversification to investors’ traditional current income portfolios through CLOs, liquid corporate credit, and other opportunistic yield instruments
• A fund-of-funds strategy investing in limited partnership interests in top tier private equity funds
• A hedged, event-driven strategy focused on generating equity-like returns with lower volatility than traditional equity products through a portfolio of equities and corporate credit investments
In addition to the strategies AOF manages internally, the Firm seeks to develop additional low fee structure, lower volatility strategies that are often hard to access.
We believe the Firm’s extensive public equity experience, expertise across the capital structure through our participation in debt markets and relationships with private-equity acquirers focused on a similar set of companies enables us to effectively identify investment opportunities and strategies. The Firm’s Strategic Partners seek to prioritize wealth creation over fee generation, thereby enhancing the alignment of incentives among all investors.
