Since 1998 Aotearoa Gaming Trust (formerly The Southern Trust) has been partnering with gaming venues throughout New Zealand to raise funds for local communities.
In 2016 alone $11.4 million was distributed to groups active in sports, health, arts, education and community.
Aotearoa Gaming Trust, is licensed by the Department of Internal Affairs under the Gambling Act 2003 to return gaming machine proceeds to the community.
The Trust provides funding for amateur sport, education, community purposes, welfare organisations and arts and culture.
