Apex Community Aid (ACAiD) is a Non-Governmental Organization focused on Health Education, Promotion and Support. Our thematic areas are Maternal and Child Health, and Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health.
We engage in diverse health-related projects which include HIV/AIDS education and screening, Maternal and Child health, Sanitation Awareness and General medical screening. We also provide health education and trainings on Sexual and Reproductive Health to youth groups, faith-based organizations, schools and associations. Our main purpose is to build the capacity of communities to promote their total well-being. Thus, we strive to work with people and communities to promote healthier behaviours that lead to effective control and prevention of diseases such as TB, HIV and AIDS, malaria and life style diseases such as hypertension which plague our communities.
