Apex Specialist Education (ASE) is a group of specialist independent schools and alternative education providers, which offer multiple educational programmes. Our organisation was started out of a belief that all children deserve equal opportunities to succeed; however, we recognise that in order to provide equality for all, then there must be a means to address educational inequity. ASE recognises that not all children are able to engage in mainstream schooling; but, through the right support and inspiration, all children can flourish and succeed.
ASE improves equity in education; facilitating a high level of tailored pastoral and academic support, routed in a nurture-based approach to ensure all children have the means to flourish. ASE adopts a rigorous safer recruitment strategy, to ensure that all ASE staff are routed in our core philosophy; all children deserve the support, and inspiration, to flourish and succeed. ASE was founded by passionate and experienced senior leaders, who recognise the challenges faced by vulnerable children and their families. Our recruitment strategy focuses on emotional intelligence, as much as it does on traditional academics. Our carefully chosen staff are passionate practitioners, who are driven to change the lives of children, families, and their communities.
