Approved Power Services Ltd operates in the EHV Power Sector of the Utilities market. Our core capabilities include; Project Management, Site Management, Cable Installation, Electrical Installations, Jointing Installations, Testing, Commissioning and Turnkey delivery of EHV / HV / MV / LV & Fibre Systems. Our offshore department is growing at a rapid speed and we have managed to secure a number of major contracts in this sector. In addition to the above we are currently working with a number of clients in the renewable market sector on HVDC and HVAC projects, supporting such clients on cross country cable installations. We offer a wide range of construction and installation services to a wide range of clients within the industry. We provide services at any stage of the project from the concept of developing a project through to the installation and commissioning of High Voltage Systems. Our clients range from Private Developers to Distribution Network Operators to End Users. We have the flexibility to contract as a turn key relationship or provide specialist services. Our jointing teams are certified up to 400kV in a number of cable manufacturers products and we have vast project references which can be provided upon request. All of our excavation and installation teams are highly trained in HSG47, GS6 and HSG185 and have formed part of the skilled APS Ltd team successfully delivering projects within substations and associated constraints & restrictions. Approved Power Services Ltd is accredited to ISO 14001:2004, ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007 In addition but to electrical system installations we have the capabilities for complex steelwork installations, civil & foundation installations, shotblasting excavations, and the unloading of large cable drums in line with LOLER regulations.
