APPTA network comprises of more than 600 alumni from Pulp and Paper Technology Course (BASc), Karnatak University, Dandeli, India. The course has been operational since 1978 and the alumni are working in responsible positions across global paper and allied industries.
APPTA's vision is to create a greener planet by judicious use of bio degradable, highly sustainable paper and board.
APPTA will focus on further strengthening this global network of alumni for mutual benefits of all involved and overall industry sustainability. Examples include periodic Webinars, professional groups for knowledge sharing and troubleshooting, sharing industry trends, industry job openings, financial assistance for deserving students, mentoring the new generation, etc.
