APS Sport Overview
The Associated Public Schools of Victoria (APS) was formed in 1908. Eleven member schools participate in 22 sporting competitions throughout the year. Vision To be recognised Nationally as a leading School Sport Association. Mission Statement The mission of APS Sport is to provide a comprehensive and high quality sporting competition for the students of the schools of the Associated Public Schools of Victoria and thereby foster individual and team development for all. AIMS - Promote health and fitness, and value teamwork and fair play through participation - Provide high quality diverse sporting competitions commensurate with the age and ability of students - Provide a safe competition with appropriate facilities - Foster individual talent, leadership, team spirit and ethical behaviour in all students - Respect our heritage, whilst being responsive to the changing needs of students.
