The Canada-Arab Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CACCI) is a not-for-profit organization with the full mission to enhance and strengthen the economic and trade relations between Canada and the Arab based countries in the Middle East and North Africa region. Arab based countries include the following: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestinian territories, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.
The CACCI seeks to meet its mission through the following:
1. Supporting and encouraging Canadian based companies or Canadian based Investors in the process of or potentially interested in investing in Arab based countries in the Middle East or North Africa Region (MENA) through providing them with information and resources about their planned investment.
2. Encouraging and Promoting investment in the MENA region through the promotion of emerging investment opportunities in the MENA region. In any case the corporation is not permitted to promote an investment that is targeted towards a specific company or a group of companies in the MENA region in which the investment benefits them exclusively. The corporation is independent.
3. Encouraging and Promoting imports from the MENA region through the promotion of import opportunities in the MENA region. In any case the corporation will not promote an import opportunity that is targeted towards a specific company or a group of companies in the MENA region in which the importing benefits them exclusively. The corporation is independent.
4. Providing resources to Canadian Companies who are interested in or in the process of importing from any Arab based country in the Middle
