Government ➫ 30+ years in military special operations, civil affairs, psychological operations, intelligence and national-level operations. Senior trainer, instructor and mentor in critical thinking, leadership and decision-making. Aragon owner John Black is a retired senior military leader, retired law enforcement command officer (Patrol & Jail), and lead investigator. He spent 30+ years in special operations, civil affairs and intelligence for the US Army and US Army Reserves, and 23 years at an Oregon sheriff’s office in leadership roles in public information, investigations, corrections and internal affairs. Dr. Black consults on special projects for contractors to the Department of Defense and police agencies.
